The headlight has a shutter which changes from low beam to high beam, for example when you switch to high beam, the shutter will go down.

More information:

Green = Mass ( negative or ground )

White = 12volt positive for low beam

Blue =   12volt positive for high beam ( click sound from headlight )

Brown = 12volt positve for LED lights ( position )

Be sure to only use the controlbox provided with the headlight.

If the battery is charged it should work without a running engine , just check if you have 12volt on the wiring.
